Get to Know Our President
Hi! My name is Eric Allen. My educational background includes online coursework at Yale in positive psychology and adolescents living well, a certification in Ecosystemic Trauma-informed Family Therapy, BCBA coursework at FSU, an MA in General/Theoretical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and a Dual Bachelor's degree of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from Messiah University in Grantham, Pennsylvania.
I have been providing behavioral health support, therapy and coaching for the last 19 years. I have worked as a Pure Health and Wellness Therapist at a cancer treatment center in Florida, I have been the director of a community-based behavioral health service provider in the Poconos, I have been the Executive Director of a tutoring company in Massachusetts, and have been running my own therapy and coaching business in the Boston area since 2010. As a passion project, I currently teach and coach speech and debate at a private school local to me and assist the administration as their guidance counselor.
Our Philosophy
At College Success Coaching, we believe that the college application process should not be stressful or overwhelming. We strive to make the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for both students and parents. Our counselors work closely with families to ensure that everyone is informed and involved every step of the way.
Our Approach
We take a student-centered approach to college counseling, focusing on each student's unique needs and goals. Our counselors work one-on-one with students to help them identify their strengths and interests, and to develop a plan that will help them achieve their college dreams.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including college selection, application assistance, essay editing, and scholarship search. We also provide guidance on extracurricular activities, summer programs, and internships to help students stand out from the crowd.
